Upcoming Gatherings
The Pause Practice
Midweek can be heavy—so we’re creating space to breathe again.
Join us for The Pause Practice, a 20-minute guided rest and reflection session happening every Wednesday on Zoom. Created in collaboration between Black Women Rest and Be Well Black Girl, this space is designed exclusively for us to slow down, soften, and reset.
For 20 intentional minutes, we’ll breathe, meditate, stretch, journal, and simply be.
Well- Rested & Well-Informed Conversation 2
Black women are worthy of care that listens, believes, and honors our whole selves. As we move through 2026 with intention, we’re choosing health, ease, clarity, and informed rest.
Join us for our second conversation in this series, Well-Rested & Well-Informed: Lymphatic Health, Stress & Recovery for Black Women with Lucinda “Lu” Rawls, LMT, CMF. We will explore how stress, tension, and daily overwhelm impact Black women’s lymphatic health and overall wellbeing. We’ll break down what the lymphatic system does, the early signs our bodies give us, and why relaxation and nervous system care are essential for healing. This conversation will offer practical tools, postoperative insight, and accessible at-home practices to help you release, recover, and support your body with more intention.
