Well-Rested & Rightfully Enraged
A Conversation with Licensed Mental Health Therapist Rachel J., LMSW, MFT
Black women’s anger is often labeled before it is ever listened to.
In this interactive and restorative conversation, Rachel J. invites participants to explore anger not as something to suppress, fear, or apologize for, but as information, protection, and a signal of unmet needs, crossed boundaries, grief, and injustice.
Through culturally grounded conversation, reflection, and embodied practices, participants will unpack the “Angry Black Woman” stereotype, examine what lives underneath their anger, and practice moving from reaction to understanding and intentional expression.
Together, we’ll make room for the full emotional range of Black womanhood and consider what becomes possible when we are allowed to be both well-rested and rightfully enraged.
